What We Do
Syracuse University Investment Club (SUIC) is an interactive, team-oriented experience focused on mentoring and guiding its members from their first year of college to their first year on the job. SUIC challenges its members to expand their understanding on the Finance World through numerous means of hands on experiences. We provide a blend of informative lectures, captivating speakers, and action-oriented learning opportunities like our paper trading competitions, and stock pitch competitions.

Funds
SUIC manages five specialized funds. Each fund employs a distinct investment strategies and is overseen by dedicated teams to reach projected financial objectives.
Macro
Focuses on broad economic trends and macroeconomic factors to guide investment decisions. This fund aims to capitalize on major economic and geopolitical events.
Value
Focuses on undervalued stocks that are trading below their intrinsic value. This fund seeks to generate returns through value investing by purchasing securities that are expected to increase in value over time.
Growth
Invests in companies with high growth potential, often in emerging sectors or industries. The Growth Fund emphasizes capital appreciation and aims to deliver strong long-term returns.
Contrarian
Invests in securities which may have poor sentiment due to many market and economic factors. Purposely bets against prevailing market trends that lead to these assets being undervalued.
Fixed Income
Invests in Fixed-Income assets. Focuses on state and federal bonds, especially U.S. Treasuries, which provide a stable base for portfolio diversification and help manage risks from more volatile investments.
